After three years together, Anne Hathaway engaged to actor Adam Shulman, his representative confirmed to Us Weekly.
Hathaway, 29, has been dating Shulman, an actor and jewelry designer, since 2008. Shulman designed her engagement ring, which she was seen wearing over the weekend in New York.
Anne and Adam started dating in 2008, and in a previous interview with People, the actress said of their relationship, “I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan. … I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!”
"It took us a pretty long time to get together," Anne told Vogue last year regarding Shulman, alluding to her trust issues with men after her relationship with Italian boyfriend Raffaello Follieri fell apart in public when he was exposed as a con man.
"When you finally realize that you can just be your own scared ... self and that you can still be sexy without trying to be, it's such a great relief. When uncondensed you is enough," she said of her relationship with Shulman.
The two have been together for three years, just after impact with your hanging Hathaway's ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri who broke with Hathaway after pleading guilty in October 2008 for defrauding millions of dollars to investors, the conspiracy charge and 14 counts of money laundering. Rebound commitment is a great story.
Anne has been reluctant to make that commitment, we know that Shulman arises the question, because Anne was photographed Sunday in Brooklyn wearing an engagement ring. In case you were wondering, the ring was designed by Kwiat Hertiage.

She also told People mag over the summer, “I’m a romantic at heart. He’s the best!”
Aww, let’s hear more quotes and Hathaway in love.
She says Shulman is far more “mellow” than her previous guys. And by mellow I’m sure she means, smoke a lot of weed is awesome.
“So far, it’s worked out great. Mellow doesn’t always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life,” says Hathaway.
Hathaway has long talked about getting married. Back in 2008 she told Access Hollywood, “Sometimes I find myself somewhere and I’m just like, “Oh, it’d be really fun to get married here.”
