Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has given birth to a girl, the first child of the former Miss World and her husband, actor Abhishek Bachchan. The handover took place in Seven Hills Hospital Marol, Mumbai.
Father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and a proud grandfather Amitabh Bachchan tweeted "I AM DADA to the cutest baby girl !!"
Aishwarya was admitted to the seven star hospital on Tuesday morning. Amitabh Bachchan had posted on his Twitter account, "A day of expectation .. but another day ! The Lord has his ways and they are most special .. we wait !!"
It was her father-in-law, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, who broke the big news on behalf of Bollywood’s “first family.” On June 21 (Tuesday night) @SrBachchan tweeted: “”NEWS NEWS NEWS AM GOING TO BECOME A GRANDFATHER .. AISHWARYA EXPECTING .. SO HAPPY AND THRILLED !!!,”.
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai had married, April 20, 2007, according to Hindu customs. The highly publicized marriage took place at a ceremony in the "Prateeksha," Bachchan residence in Juhu, Mumbai.
This time Mr. Bachchan has taken a softer tone on Twitter, may finally be preparing for the great joy in the house. Sometimes criticized for his arrogance on family and values tweeted Mr. Bachchan on shopping "at home" with Jaya Bachchan and says he enjoyed a break surprise.
