Sad news from the world of today as Bachelorette in 2010, committed ... no longer.
"Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship," their rep said. "As they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the couple's privacy."
Romance of the duo took place in 2010 in the reality show's sixth season, when he sent Chris Lambton home and Roberto accepted the proposal in the final of the season.
In an official statement, the rep announces, “Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship. As they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the couple’s privacy.”
Fedotowsky has not mentioned the split on Twitter, last writing on Sunday, “Feeling very thankful for all the beautiful, kind, giving people in my life. Which is fitting since its the start of Thanksgiving week!”
The mating pair was presented during the season six of the female version of "The Bachelor" has not the best record in matchmaking. Four of the couples in seven seasons of the show broke up.
“Their relationship has been tumultuous since day one… They’re either extremely happy or they can’t stand each other.”
As the couple denied the rumors, a representative for the couple now says that Fedotowsky and Martinez never plan to tie the knot:
"Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez ended their relationship. When they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the privacy of the couple."
Fedotowsky insisted they were still engaged in the fall - if their marriage was postponed indefinitely - but it seems that their love has not a fairy tale ending anyway.
