Taylor Swift was named artist of the year as well as best country female artist at Sunday's 39th annual American Music Awards, while Adele wone the most awards of the night with three.
"This is one of the craziest things that has ever happened to me," the singer, who also won that honor the last time this award show was held in 2009, said.
"Thank you to the fans. Please, never change."
Swift was also recognized as the favorite country female artist (in advance), and 2010 Record Speak Now was named top country album.
The audience at L.A.'s Nokia Theatre was treated to a star-studded night of electronic, explosive, backing track-assisted performances, closed out by LMFAO.
