The rapper Soulja Boy was arrested in Georgia on suspicion of drug possession, according to a report.
21-year-old artist, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, and four crew members to travel to Cadillac Escalade was stopped in Temple, Georgia, Interstate 20 near the Alabama line, a police spokesman said Dana Rampy.
Police found marijuana, weapons and money inside the car after a "routine traffic stop," Rampy said. She refused to disclose the amount of marijuana or the money.
The rapper, three bodyguards and a driver of each were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm, Rampy said.
